A few years ago, around the time when I redesigned my kitchen and named her after a beautiful 1940’s stove which resides in it, the Royal Rose Kitchen sparked this idea in me to document the nourishing food that I made in it. It instinctively became a comforting habit to imagine arrange and create on a plate. I began with a humble daily egg and soon realized that the preparation, plating, styling and photography of my various culinary creations really excited me and came very naturally - so I kept at it with loving eyes and hands. Now that I’ve discovered this magnificent infinite medium I can’t get enough of its possibilities and so I allow all of my senses to be taken by the seasons, my moods and cravings to create something beautiful out of the ordinary ~ everyday.
